Over the last decades, our missions was carried out by electronic media through the medium of internet websites and online groups - providing a forum of dialogue for Zomi leaders and the general public. Sharing information and knowledge resulted into the formation of an open and informed society. Participating in these forum of dialogues and encouraging free speech, Zomi International Network served as a foundation for the formation of civil societies at various levels of our society. This mission was concluded in 2012.
In response to the changing political environment in Myanmar and to meet the new challenges today, we are entering a new era with a new mission today. Zomi International Network will advocate the rights of the Zomi, empower them toward self-reliance, and engage them in building a free and just society.
